Travelodge by Wyndham Wetaskiwin

I loved the idea of having the hotel rooms above stores in a strip plaza. SO many retail opportunities around and quiet at night. I booked at the Wetaskiwin Travel Lodge for the price & the location - close to a relative that I was coming to see. I expected less and was so pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was coffee/tea in my room, a microwave and a fridge. The room also had a table and 2 chairs and there was still enough room to do some yoga stretches. The bathroom was great. Honestly, I don't what I could complain about - the price was the BEST part! BONUS - more coffee, yogurt and cereal (and juice) each morning in a common room! The bed and pillows were very comfy (and clean - lovely white bedding.

The room was so clean - it even smelled clean! The bed was comfortable and the bathtub was fully clean and deep, which made for a nice bath. I also liked that there was a mini fridge in the room and a public microwave. I also had a private balcony, which was a surprise!
